(1a)I
haven't clicked the full CNN but if this isn't Manufacturing Consent
and "preparing the public's mind" I don't know how much more explicit
you could get:
It
would have been a *screaming* case of preparing the public for it if
they said just "if..he d decides to step aside"
Also just before and after the 7 minute mark, Jimmy Dore found the account of Lily Adams, who served as Kamala Harris' Director of Communications -- Adams had a tweet referring to war criminal Hillary Clinton the enabler of Iraq catastrophic war, the one who talked Obama into and *spearheaded* the murderous war on Libya leaving massive death, giving ISIS foothold, having live human slave auctions in the failed state aftermath and Libya used as funnel to pipeline arms into hands of boy-beheading terrorists and other "moderates" working hand in glove with, often on their own (see preceding re "beheading") being as bad as -- ISIS and Al Qaeda --
--
Kamala's Communication Director's comment about Neocon Warmonger destroyer-of-Libya-and-Syria Hillary? Oh if only
Hillary Clinton had
won we'd have had a "foreign policy expert as president. Would have
been nice!" (7:00) -- Jimmy Dore shows screenshot of that tweet
by top Kamala aide:
(recall the pro-Hillary mainstream media called
Libya "Hillary's War" not like us pro-peace critics came up with that term.
She joined Susan Rice and other warmongers to form coalition
to pressure and convince Obama who was leaning against the Libya
war..they spearheaded that war, principally Hillary, but also per
experts, very likely Biden Secretary of State, Susan Rice, did as well
--and you'll be told to shut up and not be "racist" and
"misogynist against a 'strong woman'" if you criticize when Regime
Changer In Chief like a Susan Rice pushes towards another thousands,
or 10,000s more dead people of color (and US vets, 43% of our military
is non-white) being killed and maimed. Don't say you had no warning of
this if Biden gets in. Trump not only has murdered at a rate
that can't come close to keeping up with the murder-rate of
Obama-HRC, but also the Media, out of irrational/partisan etc often,
but at least does put a critical light on him so he knows he can't
just get away with mass murder and, you know, get rehabilitated like
war criminal George W Bush was, or get a Nobel Peace Prize just before
killing a half million in Libya-and-Syria joint
regime-change-based-on-lies operations, like
Obama)
Finally the ugly
specific details, exhibits (A) through (F) dear readers:
Vote
for Biden/Harris and that's the monstrosity you're voting for. Trump
can't keep up with 1/2 or 1/3 or even 1/4 of the mega death-toll of
500,000+ (even if you count Venezuela assault spearhead by deep state
which is always doing that and did so under Obama and even did
the full regime change coup against Honduras--that one again right at
the hand of HRC--HRC's
own advisors told Hillary the coup was illegal--she still worked to
enable the
blood-soaked coup-regime to rid the democratically elected
'leftist' president Zelaya)..Trump is letting the machine do ugly
things but not nearly at the GWB-level or
HRC-spearheads-BO/Biden-enable level
Must-Read Highlights-- especially items (D) and (E) --Kafkaesque, Kangaroo Courts, but all interesting -- endless abuses--the worst kind of "Top Cop" (Attorney General) behaviors:
(As one top black progressive vlogger on youtube, reminded, don't fall for "it was all killers and rapists and terrorists" -- nope, those even suspected of that (let alone those actually guilty of it, even smaller) is a tiny fraction -- most of those abused by the court system and police just have MJ on them, parking ticket they couldn't afford to pay, late child support they're semi-homeless and couldn't quite pay the whole thing, non-violent crimes etc --that's who's getting abused -- except, as these show: also **innocent** people not even guilty of that, got swept up--who cares if you're innocent? It might make a corrupt politician look "tough" to blow up your life, frame you, withhold evidence of innocence, etc, so tough luck, suck it up:
(A) Parents in jail:
Translation: "Having it hurt my political ladder-climbing careers was an 'unintended consequence' "
(B) Death Penalty aka State-Sponsored Execution:
In 2014, when a federal court judge
ruled
that California's administration of the death penalty was
unconstitutional, Harris appealed the decision as state attorney
general, arguing that it was "not supported by the law."
Harris later
said
that she was obligated to defend capital punishment as the legal
representative of the state. Many have pointed out that she was happy
not to defend a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage that voters
passed in Proposition 8 when it was challenged a year earlier. Harris'
response: She was merely reflecting the position of her client, Gov.
Jerry Brown's administration
(C) Madden Scandal:
In March 2010, just as Harris was campaigning to become California's
attorney general, San Francisco authorities shut down a police
department crime lab in the city's Hunters Point naval yard. A
technician named Deborah Madden was accused of skimming drugs, raising
broader questions about the lab's ability to appropriately handle
evidence in criminal cases. (Madden later pleaded guilty).
Harris immediately dismissed 20 drug cases, but the number eventually grew to
over 1,500
after documents showed that prosecutors within Harris' office had known
about Madden's potential unreliability months before the lab was
closed, but had neglected to tell defense attorneys.
A superior court judge later excoriated Harris' office, writing that the violations infringed on the defendants' constitutional rights. ..[Harris] has also
said that she did not know about the problems at the crime lab until after the scandal blew up [so, is she lying or is she truthfully saying she lacked the competence --or giving a hoot --to have dug enough to know more?]
(D) Another case of "Oh, I just wasn't aware"
that hasn't done much to assuage the concerns of critics who say Harris
had a tendency toward prosecutorial overreach, which continued once
Harris became the state's attorney general. In 2015, for example, lawyers for an inmate convicted of murder
attempted to have the case thrown out after new evidence suggested that
Riverside County prosecutors lied on the stand during the initial trial.[aka lying under oath, which is something that unless it's SEVERELY punished when prosecutors do it --regardless of how innocent we think the person is or isn't --unless there's a huge deterrent, you can kiss what little fairness we have in court for ALL of us, goodbye -ED]
Harris' office, representing the state prison system, resisted[justice], only
backing down after
footage of one of her deputies being eviscerated by three federal judges went viral. A spokesperson for her since-abandoned presidential campaign said Harris
ordered her office to drop the challenge
as soon as[here we go again] "she became aware"
of the case.
(E) Sex, Lies, and Political Ladder Climbing hurting those you pretend to help:
"[trying to score cheap points versus prostitution]..
earned Harris some criticism from
civil libertarians and from
advocates for sex workers..." A fascistic politicians like Kamala, ready to throw moms and dads in jail because their kids are absent/tardy too many times, of course doesn't stop at trying to score cheap points pretending to help sex workers leading to the workers themselves opposing her (see last link which includes quotes from sex workers including:
"
"[Kamala's Moral Police actions] basically forced me back into much more dangerous forms of sex work..
I found myself fighting eviction, trying to scrape together enough money
to eat every day. I returned to clients that I had refused because they
did hard drug.
I was, just generally, in much more dangerous situations with people" ;
Different person: "With Backpage, you had the opportunity to connect with clientele that
were already familiar with what was expected of them in that kind of
transactional relationship. They were more professional and safer."
] then of COURSE she'll show her fascist side by arresting heads of media that merely run ads, too:
Harris had the CEO of Backpage.com, Carl Ferrer, arrested on pimping
charges. Backpage was an online classifieds site known for its "adult
services" section, which prosecutors had long warned served as a market
place for sex traffickers [so does the bleeping entire INTERNET, email
service providers, etc, fascists. I want a world without sex
workers at all —excepting therapist sex surrogate type work—
but out of them no longer being in demand,
not from fascist, 1980s 'Moral Majority' type authoritarian leftist
careerists or virtue signalers who choose to be wearing a
"DNC/progressive" button while doing so].
The arrest was based on a contentious legal argument that pit
anti-trafficking fervor against the First Amendment. Since Backpage was
merely a platform for ads, its lawyers argued, it was protected by the
same law that protects Google from being held liable for illicit
websites listed in its search results.
A superior court judge agreed and threw out the case..
And if prosecutors LYING in court isn't a problem until Kamala eventually "finds out" then neither are false confessions:
Critics point to other examples. There was her office's decision to
defend [keep pushing] a molestation conviction that local prosecutors had secured with a
false confession. [link quote includes: "Ms. Harris and her staff defended the indefensible—California State
prosecutor Murray flat out falsified a transcript of a defendant's
confession..
With the two sentences that state's attorney Murray perjuriously added,
Murray was able to threaten charges that carried a term of life in
prison..Capitalizing to the maximum on his outright fabrication, state's
attorney Robert Murray committed his own crime against the defendant at
the crucial time when defense counsel was consulting with the defendant
on a possible plea.Prosecutor Murray had ample time and opportunity to correct his lies
and his falsification of the transcript, but instead, he let it go until
defense counsel had encouraged his client to plead guilty based on this
fabricated evidence" Just like with RussiaGate and other examples where people confess to, often, things they are NOT guilty of, because it's terrifying to face immense sentences. But this one takes the cake.Let's pretend you said things you didn't say, and then your defense attorney and you decide to avoid life in prison you better "confess" to the lesser charge.]
Just as earlier we noted that prosecutors lying on court must face massive penalties or else the REST of us will lose what little fairness (or protection for fairness) there is in courts -- similarly for false confessions being used. Of course they'll claim the person was guilty -- we don't want even the hypothetically guilty -- not even Jack the Ripper taken down the wrong way--the truly guilty must be convicted without abuses-- not via false confession for the same reason I don't want the KKK or ISIS or Al Qaeda to be taken down via torture or false confession or prosecutors lying to the court *etc* violations of standards that protect us *all* -- if someone's guilty, you "take them down" the legitimate way, not via kangaroo court proceedings. It's exactly the logic of "it's okay to torture al qaeda[suspects]" And that's the super ugly activity they engaged in, super ugly even if someone were (let's "Trust them" for a moment) guilty -- let alone (and Kamala and her gang have a record here) of not caring if someone is actually in fact *innocent* -- like that other fellow on death row, you know?
As if that's not enough, this kind of horrific misconduct is bad even in cases when the person *is* guilty because then if prosecutors are later caught, it may lead to the guilty person getting no sentence at all because of the insane misconduct of the prosecutors. So it's lose-lose (bad whether person is innocent or guilty) but really lose-lose-lose because as noted all of us, the public, is far less safe to have even minimal protections for fairness, in court, if prosecutors can lie or here--outright fabricate.A bit more from the Observer link:
California Judge H.A. Staley got it right. He found that Mr. Murray's
fabrication of "evidence"—falsifying the transcript of a confession
during discovery and plea negotiations—was "egregious, outrageous, and .
. . shocked the conscience."
The trial judge saw no laughing matter—and neither should the rest of
us. He dismissed the indictment completely, and in a scathing opinion,
also quoted by the appellate court, wrote that the prosecutor's actions
"diluted the protections accompanying the right to counsel and ran the
risk of fraudulently inducing defendant to enter a plea and forfeit his
right to a jury trial." The court refused to "tolerate such outrageous
conduct that results in the deprivation of basic fundamental
constitutional rights that are designed to provide basic fairness."
Undaunted by the criminal conduct of a state prosecutor, or the
district court's opinion, Ms. Harris appealed the decision dismissing
the indictment. According to the California attorney general, only
abject physical brutality would warrant a finding of prosecutorial
misconduct and the dismissal of an indictment. Fortunately for all of
us—and the Constitution—she lost again.
This is Ms. Harris' third strike in hardly as many months—and those are only the ones that have come to our attention.
They then go into another case you can click for details but just glancing to get a few blurbs about "justice" under AG Kamala Harris:
There is the outrageous misconduct by the state court agents and investigators in the Sierra Pacific/Moonlight Fire
case that caused a state judge to enter a multi-million judgment
against Cal Fire. And only a few weeks ago, Ninth Circuit Judges
Kozinski, Fletcher and Wardlaw saw misconduct so egregious that Judge
Kozinski raised the specter of a perjury prosecution of the prosecutor
during the oral argument.
Attorney General Harris had to reverse course on that case, but she did
so only after the Ninth Circuit judges made clear that she would not
like the opinion that would be forthcoming if she did not correct it
herself. In that case, Baca, the state court of appeal saw
evidence that the prosecutor himself had committed perjury. If Ms.
Harris' office had its way, it all would have been swept under the rug. Most Americans thought the laws of perjury and obstruction of justice
already applied to prosecutors and are shocked to find out that they
rarely suffer any consequence—not even termination—when failing to abide
by them. Americans should be shocked.

(F) After the above 5+ course meal, here's an after-dinner mint:
Another example: her office's refusal
to take over a 2011 Seal Beach mass shooting case after a judge recused
the entire Orange County District Attorney's office for widespread
prosecutorial misconduct. Harris recently defended her decision: "it was being handled at the local level."
[Highlights are from NorthCoastJournal detailed article, with some quotes from Observer piece it links to and another piece quoting sex workers about how Kamala's actions to 'protect' sex workers were hurting them.
